The foundation of ZenoCure was laid some seven years back when I first got diagnosed with diabetes. I didn’t have health issues before that fateful day when I suddenly passed out while shopping in the supermarket. The doctors found out my blood sugar levels too high on diagnosis, and I was declared a diabetic. Being just 28 years old, I was at the peak of my career as a senior engineer in one of the world’s biggest tech giants. It was disheartening at first, but I was not particularly concerned since I didn’t suffer any physical ailments.

The actual issues began when I constantly experienced fatigue and couldn’t concentrate on my work or regular everyday tasks. I completely lost focus and kept drifting away from my passion, i.e. helping my customers. I started putting everything aside for the last moment, resulting in too much pressure, and ultimately depression. I couldn’t confide anything with anyone, had low self-esteem and used to sleep or watch mindless videos on my phone day after day. I continued like that for around four years, ultimately losing everything I had worked for until then. It was the lowest point in my life, but it also inspired me to do something about my situation.

I began making minor changes to my routine, such as working out, going to the gym, or doing strength-building exercises. Since I didn’t suffer any physical ailments, which are common in diabetic patients, such as loss of eyesight or even certain limbs, people could not notice the changes in me. I was self-motivated to get back to my pre-diabetic routine. I researched and started taking natural remedies like Bitter-Gourd juice for treating diabetes, which was like a punishment for me every day. If I went to the doctor, he increased my dose of medicine, which I knew had many side effects. For example, Metformin–a standard diabetic medication, impacts the kidney and leads to a significant weight gain, leading to Type-2 Diabetes.

All these treatments required a lot of motivation, which many people naturally lack. I researched some more when I stumbled upon the insulin plant. As I started with my research, I realized that active ingredient, i.e., corosolic acid, is similar to a component present in medication like Gliclazide, prescribed medically for diabetics. But while Gliclazides may not have any side effects, it negatively impacted health when combined with other medical ingredients in allopathic medicine.

I researched both the USA and the UK when I noticed someone selling green tea to cure diabetes. It turned out that this tea was just dried leaves of the insulin plant. I tried importing it into the UK but was unsuccessful. I then decided to convert it into medicine, and that’s how ZenoCure came into existence. I first gave it to my mother, who has been suffering from this disease for a long time and is quite overweight. The result was that swelling on her weight reduced considerably, and her glucose levels also came back to normal. I also gained my focus and confidence back and decided to help many other diabetics. As a long-term goal, my team, experts, and I have planned to make it into a proper allopathic medicine from this plant by extracting the main active ingredient, i.e. Corosolic Acid, after more thorough R&D.

Till then, to make the lives of diabetics easier, we have introduced it into the market by converting it into a capsule containing dried insulin leaf powder combined with herbal ingredients like lemongrass to help with weight loss naturally. Our main aim is to help diabetics take back control of their life while getting that energy and confidence back to live the way they want.
